La Guarida es un hotel ecológico en Halacho, Yucatán. El proyecto arquitectónico hace énfasis en los materiales naturales de la región y está inspirado en las viviendas Mayas.
El diseño del logotipo e imagen está inspirado en el símbolo de Akbal, símbolo maya que representa el lugar donde el sol regresa a casa.
Se diseñaron también una serie de graficos informativos para señalizacion en las áreas comunes del hotel y un mosaico para el piso que se pueden ver en algunas imágenes arquitectónicas del lugar.
La Guarida is an eco-hotel located in the town of Halacho, Yucatán in Mexico. The Architectural project makes emphasis on using the regions natural materials and is inspired on traditional Mayan homes that once existed in this region.
Design project includes logo design, the creation of a ceramic floor tile design based off of the logo imagery and information graphics that describe the different plants, workshops and activities offered in the hotel and surrounding area.
The hotel logo was created using the Mayan symbol for Akbal as inspiration, which represents the place where the sun returns home.
Floor tile design is shown in the architectural drawings of set areas of the hotel.
